MODELS IN THE STUDIO

From Spring 2014 to Summer 2016, I attended figure painting class at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia. The class was taught by Philadelphia artist, James Dupreé. I wanted to learn a different way to approach an oil painting. James taught me an entirely different way to set up my pallet and techniques I continue to use.

In 2016, I attended evening workshops at The Philadelphia Sketch Club. The studies of models are all done in a pose over a three-hour session. For the paintings that looked more finished, I took the painting home and finished working on them in my home studio.
